The Plymouth County Supervisors rezoned 3.7 acres from residential to commercial to allow for a lawn care business in Perry Township. Tuesday the supervisors approved the rezoning request made by Curt Von Hagel and Chad Blanche, owners of C and C Lawn Care, of rural Sioux City.

A Lakeland woman pleaded guilty Monday to stealing money from a lawn care business. Barbara Skinner, 52, was arrested Dec. 7, 2010, on charges of taking more than $100,000 from Eagle Eye Lawn Care, according to the State Attorney's Office. Investigators concluded Skinner, who worked as a bookkeeper for the business, wrote checks to herself over the span of three years.
